NOFA at the Bakehouse: Baking with Local Grain

Join us for this introduction workshop at Brot Bakehouse School and Kitchen in Fairfax to learn all about the beauty (and challenges) of natural bread making with local grains. Perfect for homesteaders or farmers who want to bake in their wood-fired oven and like to learn more about natural baking, integrating baking into their busy schedule, maintaining a sourdough culture and local grain marketing.  If you want to supplement your CSA, bake for a farmers market or plan to open up a small cottage bakery, this workshop is for you, but all are welcome to join.

Each year, NOFA-VT presents a series of community-building events on farms across the state of Vermont.
