Your sourdough starter is a living culture and may be a little sleepy after its journey. Please feed it with flour and water as soon as it arrives to help it settle into its new home. Because it’s alive and perishable, extreme heat or cold during shipping can sometimes cause damage. For this reason, we’re unable to offer refunds for starters affected in transit. Thank you for giving this little culture the care it needs to thrive — happy baking!🌾
ORDERING FOR A CLASS: If you’re ordering a starter for a class, please place your order at least 7 days before the class date. We’ll ship your starter 7 days prior to the class, giving it plenty of time to arrive and be fed before we get started.
