An intimate and in-depth exploration of all things British! Join us to discover the classic breads and cheeses from different regions and enjoy hands-on baking and a curated cheese tasting at the end of this special workshop.
If your family hailed from England, Scotland or Ireland you are probably familiar with such classic baked goods like Irish Soda bread, Oatcakes, Bannock, Milk Loaves, Barley Flatbread and -of course - Scones with clotted cream. 

But what else is typical for the region? You'll be surprised! Not only can we discover a wealth of baked goods when we look over the Atlantic ocean, but also some great cheeses, some of which are rare finds in the US. In the first part of the class we'll go on a hands-on "bread" journey and learn to make everything from classic Irish Soda bread (no shortcuts here!) to barley flour breads and oatcakes. In the second part of the class cheese expert Rory Stamp will lead us through a tasting of special cheeses from the British Isles and we'll discover what's behind a really good cheddar cheese.

In the third part of the class we'll enjoy all the things we've created in class and more to come together for a tasting. 

What could be better than spending St. Patrick's Day in the bakery, honoring the rich food traditions of Ireland, Scotland and England.

- Full Payment is due upon registering for a class. We understand that there will be circumstances whereby you will need to cancel your course or change the date. Given two weeks or more notice we are happy to offer a full refund.

- If we need to postpone or cancel a class either a full refund will be given, or you can use your payment as a credit towards any future class.

- If you need to cancel last minute - two weeks or less of the class date -  a full refund will be offered if we can refill your booking. Otherwise a 50% refund will be issued.
