Stollen is a very special European holiday bread with a rich history, traditionally made during the winter holiday season and served during Advent and the New Year.
It is inextricably linked to the holiday traditions of Germany and has been made for hundreds of years. First recorded in 1474, several regional varieties exist, the most famous one being made in Dresden/Germany.
Our Premium Stollen is an original recipe from the town of Dresden and every single one is hand-made in our bakery, buttered twice and cured for 2 weeks for optimal flavor before available for purchase.
We use only the best ingredients for our baked goods and you can taste it: Local farmstead butter, heritage flours and our own candied fruits and spice mix make all the difference. Our Stollen is enhanced by Italian Lemon peel, fresh organic nuts from Oregon and California and marzipan from Lübeck, Germany.
